Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness has released a new song, titled “High Dive.” The song comes from his upcoming self-titled record, due out October 14th.

McMahon said about the song:

“In its most universal sense it’s about loving someone so much that you’ll take anything they’re willing to give even if it’s not enough.”

McMahon is a musician that never stops going, and it’s good to hear he has a new project to work on. After the popularity of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, McMahon doesn’t have to create a fan base as much as if he were a beginning artist. Having the support of long time fans behind him and a new sound for his ‘In The Wilderness’ project will keep McMahon in the music realm for the foreseeable future, and that’s exactly what we like to hear.

The song is currently streaming over at Buzzfeed and is accompanied by a description of the song’s meaning and creation. You can hear “High Dive” below, and don’t forget to catch Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness on tour this fall!
