Mae announce Stageit show and Destination: B-Sides pressing

Mae 2014

Mae will be emerging from their hiatus on June 7th for a special one-time performance via Stageit, where they’ll perform live from their studio and talk with fans. The band has also announced plans to press their 2004 b-sides collection Destination: B-Sides in the near future; the album will be available for pre-order during the Stageit performance and a portion of the proceeds will fund re-recording additional tracks.

Read a statement from the band below!

Hey friends!

We’ve missed you terribly!

To find a way to connect with you and celebrate 10 years since the releases of Destination: Beautiful & Destination: B-Sides, we’ve partnered with our friends at StageIt.com to perform our favorite songs from both albums for you.

We’re also excited to tell you that we are partnering with our friends at Spartan Records to release Destination: B-Sides on vinyl and we want your help!

It’s been years since we’ve been in the studio together – writing, recording and sharing in the inspired collaborative space that we have cherished together for over 12 years. We plan on taking the earnings made from this show and recording something new to release exclusively through this Destination: B-Sides vinyl package. Additionally, everyone who pre-orders the vinyl during the StageIt performance will receive an exclusive variant!

We will share more details with you soon, but in the meantime, all you’ll need is a fast internet connection and your singing voice. All we’ll need is you on June 7th at 9:00 PM EST and we’ll be good to go!

If you’ve never enjoyed a StageIt show, you’re in for a treat! Bring your love and your questions and your thoughts as this will be a highly interactive experience.

One more thing!!!

We have a very special announcement we will be sharing with you exclusively during the show so make sure you’re there or you will be missing out big time!

Much love,

-Mae
