Green Day’s first studio album in four years will be titled “American Idiot,” a spokesperson told Billboard.com. The set is tentatively due Sept. 14 via Reprise. It’s the follow-up to 2000’s “Warning,” which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 998,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Dirrty girl’s summer tour is a wash. Christina Aguilera has canceled all upcoming performances on the advice of her doctor, due to a set of stripped pipes sustained in the studio.
