Violet Grohl has launched her latest release “Cool Buzz,” pulled from her eagerly anticipated debut full-length album, Be Sweet To Me. “Cool Buzz” marks the fourth preview of the 11-track album, which is due on May 29 via Auroura Records / Republic Records. An accompanying music video for the track is also expected to drop on Friday, May 1. The track takes aim at “poking fun at moral inconsistencies in punk guys who preach progressive politics, but then in their own musical spaces won’t let women have a chance,” Grohl shares. A new theatre project involving My Chemical Romance may be in the works, according to comments made by director/playwright/actor John Cameron Mitchell that are currently circulating online. Mitchell—best known for creating and starring in the cult rock musical Hedwig And The Angry Inch and directing its film adaptation—revealed during a recent appearance that he is quietly developing a theatrical project with the band. Foo Fighters have announced six additional dates to their upcoming US headline tour kicking off this May. The new dates will take place in August, September, and October in Spokane, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, Lake Tahoe, NV, Virginia Beach, VA, Phoenix, AZ, and El Paso, TX.
