This week I have singer/songwriter Grace McKagan. She’s no stranger to Rock ‘N’ Roll growing up in a Rock oriented family, I get to hear how she came to be as an artist and where her journey’s have taken her, from the road to modeling, to how we met, and everything else in between! Panic! At The Disco‘s lead guitarist Mike Naran is officially a married man and shared snapshots of the beautiful day with his Instagram followers. This week I have singer/songwriter David McWane from Ska band “Big D & The Kids Table.” We’ve met briefly on the Warped Tour, and I wanted to have him on my show because I started out as an early teenager in a Ska band, and I wanted to figure out how he was able to do it professionally all these years. We talk about how David got his start with music, all the way until today. We talk about all the tours and shows he has coming up and how much he enjoys being the opener.

This week I have long time friend and singer/songwriter A.J. Perdomo of The Dangerous Summer, I met him back in 2009 when I did my first tour with The Bigger Lights and we were opening for them. We’ve kept in touch ever since and have even talked about collaborating in the future, we talk about where A.J. got his start and how we’ve been in each others lives, as well as where The Dangerous Summer is going and has been.
This week I have long time friend T.J. Petracca, one of the co founders of popular club night “Emo Nite.” What makes this episode special to me is we grew up in the same town of Park City, UT experiencing the same things, I had already moved to California when T.J. would be experiencing his love for Emo, and Punk Rock. I hear his story on how he was able to build an empire and how he’s been able to help so many bands get attention throughout the years.
This week I have DJ Bowie Jane, I met her through Jess Bowen, and they have a radio show together on Idobi as well called “Babes Behind The Beats” where they interview women in music! Bowie Jane is an artist/DJ and she also recently got on CBS’s Big Brother. She didn’t quite go into detail about it, but this interview is from before she got on the show. She reflects about her life coming from Australia to America and everything else in between as I get to know her better on this weeks episode.
This week I have friend/magician Day Mori! I met him from just seeing him around LA, and I remember he blew my mind with a magic trick when we were at Bonnie McKee’s house for the 4th of July in 2022. Ever since then it’s been fun to see Day grow up and learn how he got his love for magic, he even performs at the famous Magic Castle, he also does music and I get his story on how he got from point A to B.
This week I have long time friend and DJ, Alex Mac. I met him when he was working for IHeart Radio in Des Monies Iowa, we ended up hanging out and kept in touch, and we even took some adventures together over the years. We catch up and talk about how he got involved with the popular dance night Gimmie Gimmie Disco, and what’s in store for future of Alex Mac. Who knows, some might say that I might be playing the Aug 25/26 2023- 5 year anniversary show on drums with him, but I guess you’ll have to listen to the show to find out.
