Foo Fighters, Used, Yellowcard On Rock Against Bush Vol. 2


A week after the compilation Rock Against Bush Vol. 1 was released, a sequel to the politically minded compilation is taking shape. The Foo Fighters will contribute their cover of “Gas Chamber,” a song originally recorded by L.A. punks the Angry Samoans, which appeared as a B-side to the Foos’ 1996 CD single “Big Me.” The original tune appeared on the Angry Samoans’ second album, 1982’s Back From Samoa. Used, Sum 41 on Warped DVD


This year is a milestone for the Vans Warped Tour, as the hard rocking fest enters its tenth year of carrying the post-punk banner. Footage of some of last year’s touring bands – including the Used, the Ataris, Sum 41, Glassjaw, Pennywise, Rancid, Thrice and Less Than Jake – will be included on Vans Warped Tour ’03, a DVD due on June 22nd. Warped Tour calling all locals


For the second year in a row, The Vans Warped Tour has been sucked out of Boreal Mountain Resort down the mountain to the Sleep Train Amphitheatre near Sacramento. But that doesn’t mean local bands can’t participate. As part of the 10th anniversary of the Warped tour, the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands invites budding acts from across the country to earn a slot on a Warped Tour stop. Warped Tour Sets Lineup, Itinerary


Bad Religion, the Vandals, Good Charlotte, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards, and NOFX are among the more than 50 acts set for the 10th anniversary edition of the Vans Warped Tour. The trek, which will begin June 25 in Houston, will also feature New Found Glory, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, the (International) Noise Conspiracy, Simple Plan, Bouncing Souls, and Coheed & Cambria. Good Charlotte Hope To Make Lola Ray Rich And Famous

The Fight To Tour With Rancid


The Fight (from Dudley in the West Midlands) are back in the UK after touring the USA since January, to support US punk band ‘Rancid’. The Fight met up with Rancid’s lead singer Tim Armstrong whilst performing the Californian leg of the Vans Warped Tour, where he asked them to support Rancid on their tour of the UK.
