More than four years after the suicide of their elegant frontman, Michael Hutchence, the five members of Australian rock band INXS will return to the U.S. concert circuit in May with a substitute vocalist. Paul McCartney to Begin U.S. Tour on April 1


Former Beatle Paul McCartney will kick off his first North American concert tour in nine years in Oakland, Calif. on April 1, his publicist said on Thursday. McCartney, 59, will play 20 shows in 19 cities, including a two-night stand at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel where the top ticket price will be $350, according to tour promoters. Bastions of ’90s punk Green Day and Blink-182 will embark on a co-headlining jaunt, beginning April 17 in Bakersfield, California. The 41-city Pop Disaster Tour will continue through June 17 in Minneapolis, according to a tour publicist. Venues have yet to be hammered out. Celine Dion Covers Old Tunes On New Day


Celine Dion’s first studio album since 1997’s multiplatinum Let’s Talk About Love will finally hit stores on March 26. A New Day Has Come, which will mark the end of the pop singer’s two-year hiatus, will feature 16 songs, including covers of Etta James’ “At Last” and Nat King Cole’s “Nature Boy,” according to Epic Records. No Doubt To Launch Rock Steady Roadshow In March


No Doubt are taking their Rock Steady to the streets, beginning in mid-March. The ska-turned-reggae rock quartet will launch its first proper tour in support of its latest album, Rock Steady, with two offshore dates in Puerto Rico and Venezuela, on March 14 and 16, respectively, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. 'NSYNC Bringing Smash Mouth, Ginuwine On Tour


‘NSYNC have reached outside of the singing group world for the opening acts on their upcoming Celebrity 2002 Tour, recruiting Smash Mouth and Ginuwine. The raspy rockers and the sensual R&B singer are confirmed for the outing, though an ‘NSYNC spokesperson said it hasn’t been determined which artist will play which dates.
