Complaint Vs. Dion's Husband Probed

Police are investigating a Los Angeles woman’s claim that pop diva Celine Dion’s husband raped her two years ago. Las Vegas authorities say they began looking into the case after Yun Kyeong Sung Kwon filed a police report March 19, two years to the day after the alleged incident. The investigation will be hampered by the two-year delay, police said. Angelil said the allegations “don’t stand up.” A police spokesman would not say if Kwon provided physical evidence. Kwon has also filed a civil suit against Angelil, claiming she met him at a casino and he followed her into an… Read more »

Light Me, Britney, One More Time

Apparently the pop princess came pretty darn close to burning down-well, not the house-but a New York City apartment building a few days ago. The tidbit comes courtesy of the latest edition of Lynne’s Corner, a diary written by Spears’ mom that appears on the singer’s Website, BritneySpears.com. According to Ma Spears’ weekly update, published Wednesday, Britney nearly torched the apartment she was staying in by leaving a candle burning while she and a pal went out. Spears was in town for a four-day vacation with one of her friends (identified only as “Jenny” on the Website). The two spent… Read more »

The Offspring has been playing a few scattered shows recently. The band visited Russia and played the Recording Artists Coalition concert in Long Beach, California last month. Guitarist Noodles (real name Kevin Wasserman) wrote on the band’s website, “The RAC Is a lobbying union for musicians who, up to this point, have been painfully unrepresented as a whole when it comes to legal issues that affect us. When laws are being considered that affect musicians, especially young and new acts, the RAC will make sure that the artist’s rights are not overlooked.” He added, “I know what you’re all thinking;… Read more »
