On Monday, August 18, 2008, the Jonas Brothers unveiled their wax figures for the first time at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington, DC. On the heels of the release of the group’s hotly anticipated new album, “A Little Bit Longer,” the Jonas Brothers posed side-by-side with their wax figures. Quiet time is a rarity for the Jonas Brothers these days. The Jonas Brothers reportedly bought a house in a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb – and some young neighbors sound thrilled. Tarrant County records obtained by The Dallas Morning News indicate that the three band members granted power of attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, to buy a $2.8 million, six-bedroom house in Vaquero, a gated community in the suburb of Westlake. The documents were signed June 12. A real estate agent confirmed the house’s sale but said the contract prevented her from commenting further. The Jonas Brothers will perform at this year’s Video Music Awards. It will be the wholesome pop group’s first-ever appearance at the event, known for its decadence and eye-popping water cooler moments (many involving Britney Spears). Following in the steps of fellow Disney teen star Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers will star in a 3-D concert film. The movie, to hit theaters in 2009, will feature footage from the group’s upcoming “Burning Up” concert tour, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of bandmates Kevin, Joe and Nick.
