NEW YORK —  Reunited rockers No Doubt rapper Flo Rida and R&B singer Jennifer Hudson are among the artists headlining the upcoming summer concert series on morning chat show “Today,” NBC announced said on Thursday. Joining them will be the Dave Matthews Band, All-American Rejects, Kings of Leon and Black Eyed Peas among others. Television networks paid more than $5 million for exclusive rights to show events surrounding President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration, including Sunday’s Lincoln Memorial concert and the Neighborhood Ball where Beyonce will serenade the new first couple.Nearly half the money, $2.5 million, will be paid by HBO. Lance Bass wouldn’t mind dancing with a man on a reality competition show, but he doesn’t think ABC’s Dancing With the Stars is the right place for fancy same-sex footwork. “I think it would be so silly that it would just overshadow everything else going on,” Bass tells me. “It would just be like making fun of something. The music video show will conclude in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November, Dave Sirulnick, executive producer of “TRL,” said Monday.
