Sum 41 to Rock Harder on Next CD

Canadian punkers Sum 41 will begin tracking the follow-up to their 2001 breakthrough, All Killer No Filler, in late April. They have been writing and demo-ing new material during the Tour of the Rising Sum, the band’s first headlining jaunt. Following the conclusion of the tour – which finds the boys rocking the U.S., Japan and Europe – the foursome will enter the studio with plans for a late 2002/early 2003 release. Greig Nori – who manned the board on Sum 41’s debut EP, 2000’s Half Hour of Power – is expected to produce the album. He also serves as… Read more »

Napster Leak Makes Journey's Comeback Rock Harder

Journey guitarist Neal Schon wanted Arrival, the group’s first album in five years and its first since 1978 without frontman Steve Perry, to rock harder and shed some of the San Francisco band’s reputation for ballads. Their influence rippled through everything from My Chemical Romance, who have praised them as a major influence, to AFI and The Used.  The Paradox x idobi Radio Exclusive T-Shirt Limited edition, printed-on-demand. The Dirty Nil Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Fueled By A High School Blood Contract

On July 25, The Dirty Nil, aka dynamic duo vocalist/guitarist Luke Bentham and drummer Kyle Fisher, brought their trademark blistering rock and roll on The Lash. Beyond this stripped-back approach, Fisher and Bentham sought out to make a record that made them feel “stoked,” and ignite feelings that returned them to day one.
