Just like everything that surrounds Sum 41, Chuck, the band’s fourth full-length album, has an outlandish story behind it. Last May, the group of 20-somethings were in the Congo, doing the charitable rock star thing by filming a documentary for War Child Canada about the civil war there, which has claimed over three million lives. In the midst of their altruistic act, the band suddenly found themselves in the midst of a serious violent outbreak as gun-fighting and bombs began falling just outside of their hotel. The O.C. Continues Mission To Save Indie Rock


The hit series The O.C. is becoming known as a hotbed for indie music promotion. Kid Rock Arrested on Assault Charges


NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Kid Rock was arrested Wednesday by Nashville police on charges that he punched a disc jockey at a strip club. The 34-year-old rapper was released after posting a $3,000 bond on a charge of simple assault, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail. “Everything is wonderful. It was a beautiful night,” Kid Rock said as he left the Criminal Justice Center. His arraignment was set for March 30. To many touring bands, the East Coast of Canada is uncharted territory due to logistical and financial reasons. Legend Heart Rocks Live in 2005!


PORT ORCHARD, Wash. – Independent record label Legend Heart Records announced today the long awaited debut performance of Legend Heart at the historic Pantages Theater in Tacoma, New Years Night at 8pm. The band debuted earlier this year, with the release of their successful self-titled CD on February 14th. Since then, Legend Heart’s website has grown to over a half a million hits per month.
