On January 22, Bowling For Soup shared a bittersweet message on social media platforms. Guitarist extraordinaire Chris Burney, 55, is permanently retiring from the band. The artist originally helped co-found the band in the ’90s. Earlier today, Friday, January 19, Ben Bruce, a founding member of Asking Alexandria, the group’s guitarist and primary songwriter, announced that he has officially parted ways with the band.
