Inidia.Arie and Alicia Keys are a few of the celebrities who will appear at the NAACP Image awards this year. The show is set for Saturday at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles and will air on Fox on March first. National National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice will receive the President’s Award and Little Richard will receive the Hall of Fame Award. Lopez Remix Disc Rides High


Familiar tunes made registers ring at the nation’s music retailers last week as a remix collection, three hits compilations, a reshaped album and a live disc were the top 40 debuts. Depeche Mode to Do Pay Per View


A Depeche Mode performance filmed last year at the Palais Omnisports in Paris will be aired as a two-hour pay per view concert starting March 8th. One Night in Paris, The Exciter Tour will be available through iN Demand (8 p.m. ET), TVN, Echostar and DirecTV (all 9 p.m.) through April 9th. Ludacris Rolls Out North American Tour Plans


Ludacris is putting his money where his Mouf is and betting fans will come out to see his live show. The Atlanta rapper will hit clubs and theaters in more than a dozen North American cities beginning February 13 in Orlando, Florida, according to his Def Jam Records spokesperson. Nelly Gets Praise From Missouri


While Gov. Bob Holden and members of the Missouri House honored St. Louis rapper Nelly, some questioned whether the state should praise a group that sings about illegal drug use and sexual promiscuity. Nelly and his group, the St. Lunatics, were honored Tuesday for their promise to play basketball with high schools that showed increased participation in standardized state tests. Janet Jackson’s current tour will wrap with an HBO concert special, titled Janet Jackson: In Concert From Hawaii, on February 17 at 9 p.m. ET. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Agrees To Enter Intervention Program


Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has agreed to take part in a pretrial intervention program in order to bring a misdemeanor charge against him to a resolution. Carter was charged with resisting or opposing a law-enforcement officer without violence after he refused an officer’s orders to leave Tampa’s Pop City nightclub on January 2. Under the terms of the deal with state prosecutors, Carter will face probation, perform community service, and pay an undisclosed fine.
