This week I have friend and fellow drummer Chase Vernon, when I first met him my old band did shows with his old band Super Whatevr, and we’ve been friends ever since. Since that band dissolved, he’s played for bands such as: Magic Whatever, Garzi, Royal & The Serpent, and now is currently playing drums for the band Games We Play.We talk about how he got his start, how he’s continued to get the next gig, and what it’s like being a hired drummer. We also share a rehearsal spot together, which I’m stoked about.
Escape The Fate is set to ignite the stage with their highly anticipated fall headline tour, aptly named “Out Of The Shadows.” The post-hardcore mainstays will be supported by Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.), Point North, Stitched Up Heart, and garzi. Last month, So What?! Music Festival announced its explosive two-day lineup, including Pierce The Veil and The Used headlining on Saturday, June 24, and Sleeping With Sirens, Neck Deep, and Thursday headlining on Sunday, June 25. Now the festival has announced a few new additions to the scheduled performances across the two-day event.
