Earlier today, Friday, January 19, Ben Bruce, a founding member of Asking Alexandria, the group’s guitarist and primary songwriter, announced that he has officially parted ways with the band. In a statement shared to the official Asking Alexandria Instagram Stories, Bruce cited “stepping away” to spend invaluable time with his family, most importantly delving into being around for his children and how his “life has inevitably changed” since founding the band in 2006. Looks like we’ll be hearing from Jordan Fish sooner than expected in the metalcore scene. He’s linking up with powerhouse Spiritbox as they work on new music. This was revealed after guitarist Mike Stringer of the three-piece posted on his Instagram stories of a studio mixing-board with Fish sitting behind it.
