To Bridgerton, (Mostly) With Love

Dearest gentle reader, the first half of Bridgerton season 3 has arrived and thus, the right honorable ladies of Geek Girl Riot cordially invite you for a spot of afternoon tea and gossip.

Bridgerton State of Events
Lady Whimsnicole, Lady Maefield, and Lady Bearmont relish in the drama, beginning with an overview of the series (one must always consider one’s history, after all). They share why they adore seeing romance on screen and what sets Bridgerton apart. Then the trio discusses whether their first impressions of the new season matched their expectations.

Frankly Speaking, We Have Questions
In the second segment, our ladies take a deeper look into the characters and their relationships, examining what did and didn’t move them. With new castings and plotlines, S3 has given us much to talk about. Is Polin everything they hoped for? Have Francesca and John won them over? How do they feel about Cressida and Eloise’s surprise new friendship? What do they hope to see next for Benedict? Our Rioters aren’t afraid to ask all the right questions, even if they must spill some tea in the process.

Romanclusivity in Bridgerton & Beyond
Romanclusivity is one of the great loves of our Rioters’ lives—so settle in to hear what they enjoy most about it (and read Sherin’s brilliant essay all about it for more). This conversation leads them into their musings about the rest of S3, along with what they want to see next in Bridgerton and beyond. Rest assured, this is not the last you will hear of us on the subject—our esteemed ladies shall return to discuss S3 Part 2 very soon.

Tune in to Geek Girl Riot on idobi Radio every Tuesday at 11pm ET / 8pm PT
for your dose of late-night geekery.
