On a random January Wednesday night, the Arizona five-piece dropped dyed (2008-2023), a compilation album of reimagined demos. Each track honors the band’s nine album eras. As It Is just dropped a new teaser video on Instagram and TikTok sharing that they’re releasing a new version of “Dial Tones.” This time, the Never Happy, Ever After track contains a mystery featured guest artist. The teaser video sees the song in its more mature form with refined pop-punk sonics—after all, it’s been an entire decade. (Insert crying emoji here.)
