Jay-Z To Tour U.S.


Four days before his sixth album, The Blueprint, hits stores, Jay-Z will begin a theater tour of the U.S on September 14th in Columbus, Ohio. Joining him will be Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and other members of his Roc-A-Fella Records roster. Before the tour, Jay-Z will appear perform his new single, “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place September 6th at New York City’s Metropolitan Opera House. Britney Was 'Nervous' Recording With Justin


Recording a song with boyfriend Justin Timberlake as a co-producer made Britney Spears “a little nervous,” she says. The song, “What It’s Like to Be Me,” was recorded during sessions for Spears’ third album, due November 6. A track listing for the still-untitled album is starting to shape up, as are plans for a tour, which is set to begin October 26 in Miami. 311 To Headline North America In Late Summer/Early Fall


Funk/punk/rap-rockers 311 will follow their summer on the Warped Tour with an extensive headlining tour across North America. The group will kick off a two-month swing in support of its latest album, From Chaos, at the Street Scene in San Diego on September 8 and play more than three dozen shows through the end of October. Sevendust Hit The Road


Hot on the heels of wrapping up the recording of their third full-length album, Animosity, Sevendust will launch a twenty-two-date North American tour with Texas rockers Drowning Pool in tow. The tour kicks off August 21st in Athens, Georgia and winds down in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 19th. Incubus To Tour In Fall


Incubus will release their fourth album, Morning View, on October 23rd.
