Dashboard Confessional is currently on a massive tour with Boys Like Girls and Taylor Acorn. Though, on September 21 at the St. Louis stop, a very special guest joined the lineup: Chris Carrabba’s son, Caden. On beloved track “Vindicated,” Caleb came out and performed alongside his dad as the drummer. Carrabba shared, “One of my favorite shows of the tour got even better when my son @caden_carrabba joined us on the drums for Vindicated in St. Louis! We sure as hell didn’t want last night to end, as Moneen was joined by Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba on stage in Toronto, ON, Canada! Welcoming Carrabba to the stage with a hug during the band’s encore, Moneen’s Kenny Bridges joked, “If you got great pals around, you gotta play music with them. Chris Carrabba is an artist that I grew up seeing play and listening to. From the early days of Further Seems Forever, to literally him being booed on stage during early Midtown / Dashboard shows, to the Victory Drive Thru Recs. drama to seeing him at the Unplugged performance for MTV. The guy has seen it all, and continues to pursue music – this time with a different feel that is, Twin Forks. Definitely check out the interview as it’s one of my favorites. The guy is genuine, which is rare these days in the industry.
