Slipknot officially kicked off their 25th Anniversary Here Comes The Pain tour with guests Knocked Loose and Orbit Culture in Noblesville, Indiana on August 6. The iconic metal act is playing an expansive setlist, mostly from their notable 1999 self-titled LP. In fact, the artists closed out the entire show with their eight-minute-long track “Scissors,” which marks the first time playing it live since 2000. According to Setlist.fm, Slipknot also played “No Life” for the first time since 2000, “Only One” for the first time since 2012, and “Me Inside” for the first time since 2015. HEALTH is gearing up for Rat-Girl summer of their own, and they’re kicking it off with a reimagined version of “ASHAMED” from their 2023 LP RAT WARS. The LA-based noise rockers have recruited CHVRCHES‘ frontwoman Lauren Mayberry to add her unique indie pop vocals to the ethereal track. If you missed BABYMETAL at this year’s Sick New World Festival, fear not. The group just announced they’re coming back to the States in the fall on a headlining tour. The tour kicks off on November 5 at Hard Rock Orlando and wraps up on December 3 at House Of Blues Anaheim. On April 27 in Las Vegas, Sick New World 2024 was the stuff of metal lovers’ dreams. The massive fest was full of surprises, including a Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL crossover, System Of A Down dedicated “Lonely Day” to the late Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, and more.
