Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of American Idiot due out October 25. Green Day has just revealed three more tracks that will appear on the release. The additions include “Shoplifter,” “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams – Live at Irving Plaza, New York, NY 9/21/04,” and “Jesus Of Suburbia – Demo.” Uniquely, the iconic nine-minute American Idiot hit, “Jesus Of Suburbia,” began as a two-minute-long demo. Fans thought that As It Is took their final bow in 2022, but recently, the band returned to announce they’ll be playing Slam Dunk 2025. Additionally, they’re gearing up to release A Decade Uneventful: B-Sides & Rarities (2012 – 2022) on November 20. Following the announcement of their exciting reunion as well as the 10 year anniversary performance of their full-length album Never Happy, Ever After at Slam Dunk Fest in 2025, As It Is has launched their forthcoming compilation album A Decade Uneventful: B-Sides & Rarities (2012 – 2022) with several unreleased tracks and demos. Green Day has announced the arrival of American Idiot 20th Anniversary Deluxe edition—which feels too perfectly timed with the forthcoming election. The deluxe release is scheduled to drop on October 25, 2024, a little more than 20 years after the original album was released on September 21, 2004.
