Today Fall Out Boy announced an exclusive vinyl release of their most recent album So Much (For) Stardust in partnership with CRYNYL.com. The drop was limited to just 50 records, but the best part? Each vinyl is filled with the tears of Pete Wentz for “maximum emotional fidelity”. Fall Out Boy is the first artist to ever do this. The company explained: “Music is more than just sound waves. It’s passion, struggle, and emotion. That’s why we developed a new kind of record: one that contains the artists’ actual tears. When you listen to a CRYNL release, you’re not just… Read more »

Canadian alt-rock unit Ragers have dropped their electro-punk new single, “Tossed Out.” Their latest effort is pulled from the four-piece’s forthcoming album, Missed Calls From Home, and follows the release of their recent single “Only Sins No Tragedies.” “Tossed Out” showcases the group’s signature blend of electronic, hip-hop, and alternative influences, while the video features stunning visuals that perfectly complement the song’s frantic energy and urgency. The new release is particularly highlighted by the chorus’ repetitive line, “I knew you would try gon toss me out,” layered over a driven beat consisting of pulsating synths and skittering percussion, with occasional… Read more »
Ahead of her soon-to-be-iconic performance supporting Iggy Pop in Las Vegas at The Pearl Theatre on April 29, Grace McKagan has issued a music video for her hypnotizing “Call Me Back (When I’m Dead).” Highlighted by a sensational bassline and McKagan’s 60s meets early aughts style of rock ‘n’ roll/pop-punk/alt-pop vocal fusion, “Call Me Back (When I’m Dead)” feels like it houses an old soul of its own. The visual for the recently released track complements its memorizing vibe, mixing close-up shoots of McKagan with blurry overlays that capture the somber yet introspective nature of the tune. Lyrically, “Call Me… Read more »

On the heels of their debut album, Retrovision, due via Thriller Records on June 23, alt-rockers Honey Revenge have released their unapologetically confident new track, “Worst Apology.” The new single, which is the fifth preview of their debut, opens with a captivating guitar riff backed by a driving drumbeat creating a sense of urgency. The track culminates the driving rhythms of pop-punk with the emotive melodies of alt-rock, creating a unique and energetic sound that matches the raw emotion of the lyrics. Vocalist Devin Papadol’s powerful notes hit a climatic peak at the track’s chorus, belting out, “Don’t care what… Read more »
Having made a name for herself in punk rock with her group The Bombpops, and touring alongside genre titans such as Descendents, Bad Religion, and Against Me!, vocalist/guitarist Jen Razavi (Jen Pop) has launched her debut solo track, “Saw In Half.” The Will Yip-produced (Circa Survive, Turnstile, La Dispute) single is hauntingly, atmospheric showcasing Razavi’s tenderness and vulnerability. Where there were once fast, driving rhythms, distorted guitar riffs, and melodic hooks, Razavi has traded in for a more stripped-back, delicate approach. Detailing a failed relationship that’s left the narrator feeling broken and alone, “Saw In Half” is an introspective and… Read more »
