UK pop-punk mainstays Neck Deep have announced two intimate, warm-up shows to kick off Download Festival weekend. In a social media post featuring a true-to-form punk poster, the band shared that the shows will take place on June 7 at The Foundry in Torquay and June 8 at Engine Rooms in Southampton. Anna Shoemaker, the young New York transplant, has released her confessional new single, “I Think I.” “I Think I” follows the release of “Holly” which Anna issued in January and sparked a “viral TikTok moment” garnering more than 1.7 million views on her platform. “I Think I” and “Holly” are two of the five enchanting tracks that make up her eagerly-anticipated EP Hey Anna which is expected to drop in June 2023 via +1 Records. Tragedy shook the metal community this past Friday evening when the roof of the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, IL collapsed during a show. At the time, the venue was hosting Morbid Angel, Revocation, Crypta, and Skeletal Remains for the “United States Tour of Terror.” While the featured acts were between sets, a tornado ripped through the area and consequently, the venue.
