New Kids on the Block summer tour sets sail

MIAMI — The little girls who made the New Kids on the Block a boy band sensation in the late 1980s and early 1990s are all grown up, and now they’ve got disposable income. So what better way to show their love for Jordan, Jonathan, Joey, Donnie and Danny than spending three days with them on a Caribbean cruise? About 2,100 women, most in their 20s and 30s, paid more $1,000 each for a sold-out, three-day Carnival Cruise Lines trip that left Miami for the Bahamas on Friday. In the announcement, frontman Adam Lazzara and the band revealed that longtime member Fred Mascherino will be returning to take his place. Mascherino, who originally played with the group from 2003 to 2007, will rejoin for their upcoming summer tour alongside co-headliners Coheed And Cambria. After testing the waters during the band’s 2024 holiday shows—where Mascherino joined them on stage—the pieces started falling into place. Nolan shares, “Once Fred was on board, then it… Read more »

Radiohead Appears on The Summer I Turned Pretty Episode 3 Tracklist

If you’re anything like this book-obsessed, music-devoted girlie pop, you may or may not have rolled out of bed at 3 AM ET this morning with a strong ass coffee ready to spiral into absolute oblivion over episode 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty season three. I said, may have—this is a judgement-free zone! While most of the episode was spent white-knuckling a throw pillow thanks to the mounting tension between the emotionally complicated cast (we’re really looking at you during this episode, Taylor and Steven), one of the most gut-punching—and beautifully soundtracked—moments hit in the final minutes of… Read more »
