After The Ready Set’s first label release, 2010’s I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming, we waited four long years for another full length from the electro-pop solo act. During that time, we were oh so patient for an album that 2014’s The Bad And The Better didn’t quite become, but now that I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love is here, our perseverance is finally being rewarded.

At the end of the day, all that needs to be said about the eleven magnificent songs on this collection is that they’re a collection of fun, addictive, and enticing pop that sounds like sunshine and good memories.
Warped Tour just wrapped its weekend in Orlando, and it was a festival to behold, especially if you caught mgk‘s headlining set on Saturday, November 15. The artist, who is ready to kick off his world tour tomorrow, brought out several special guests during his 19-track set. Excitingly, he live-debuted his cover of Goo Goo Dolls‘ “Iris” with Julia Wolf, who also appeared at Warped Tour and is set to support him on select dates on his tour. Set It Off just offered a new song, “Pathological,” from their forthcoming self-titled LP, due out on November 7. The project marks their first independent release.
