Spears Says She, Timberlake Were Lovers

After years of saying she’d wait until she was married to lose her virginity, Britney Spears is acknowledging that she had sex with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. “I’ve only slept with one person my whole life,” the pop star tells W magazine for its August issue. “It was two years into my relationship with Justin, and I thought he was the one,” she pauses, then adds, “But I was wrong! I didn’t think he was gonna go on Barbara Walters and sell me out.” Spears, 21, and Timberlake, the 22-year-old ‘N Sync singer, met as kids while performing on TV’s… Read more »

Eminem Smashes 'Source' Award During Summer Jam Performance

Eminem, the headliner of Summer Jam 10, took time on stage to show his anger toward the Source magazine. During a break in his performance on Tuesday (June 3) at Giants Stadium, Eminem hurled his 2000 Source Award for Lyricist Of The Year to the ground. The rapper has been involved in an ongoing feud with Source magazine co-owner Ray Benzino, who has accused Eminem of taking advantage of and destroying the hip-hop culture to further his personal gain. Eminem and his mentor, Dr. Dre, subsequently pulled all of their ads from the magazine. Eminem ended his set with a… Read more »

Britney Spears Shedding Her Clothes Online

Britney Spears won’t be ripping off her flesh-colored pants ever again. Nor will she don her green bra-and-miniskirt snake-trainer ensemble – and not just because wearing the same outfit in public is a celeb fashion faux pas. No, the singer is selling her clothes to the highest bidder in the name of charity, she announced Thursday (May 22). “They’re kind of iconic or whatever,” Spears said, “but it’s not like I’m going to be wearing them anytime soon. And although I’m kind of sad about some of the pieces going, I know that the money we raise will have a… Read more »

Durst Dishes Alleged Britney Nookie On Howard Stern Show

The he-said/she-said between Britney Spears and Fred Durst went into overdrive Thursday morning when the Limp Bizkit frontman offered intimate details about his professional and personal relationship with the singer on Howard Stern’s syndicated radio show. “I swear on my son Dallas’ baby blue eyes I was telling the truth [about our relationship],” said a groggy Durst, who admitted to being out late the night before. Stern and his crew egged him on for salacious details for about a half an hour. “This [relationship] went on for a little while, that’s what’s pretty unbelievable about this crap she’s saying,” Durst… Read more »

Justin Timberlake On Tourmate Christina: 'She's Bad'

At the American Music Awards two weeks ago, Justin Timberlake was pretty secretive about his upcoming concert plans. But now that touring partner Christina Aguilera has spilled the beans, Timberlake feels justified to start yapping about the summer extravaganza. “It was an idea that both of our managers concocted,” he said. “When it came to me I said, ‘It sounds really interesting. It would be fun to be on tour with somebody who’s that talented’ “. Although some folks have raised an eyebrow at the idea of Justin touring with a supposed rival of Britney Spears, Timberlake wants to downplay… Read more »

Kelly Osbourne Proves She's The Real Deal At NYC Concert

Kelly Osbourne proved she’s every bit her father’s daughter at her first full-fledged concert on Tuesday. Any questions about her authenticity – that recording her album, Shut Up, was simply the easiest way to boost her celebrity – were wiped away soon after she emerged beneath a giant pink neon sign that read “Kelly Osbourne,” visibly moved at the enthusiastic applause. Unlike her previous live performances – at a radio-sponsored festival and a “Tonight Show” gig – on Tuesday the crowd was all hers (the “I love you, Kelly” cries might have given it away), and she grabbed the reins… Read more »

Webcaster Alliance Publishes Multi-Part Expose on HR 5469

As the lame duck legislative session begins today, the webcasting community continues the fight to keep HR 5469 from passing in the Senate and becoming law. A year that started with the webcasting industry united in a common goal to work on the CARP (Copyright Arbitration Royalty Panel) rates and develop reasonable, equitable legislation as an industry standard has ended with the entire U.S.-based webcasting community up in arms over a private deal negotiated between the RIAA (Recording Industry Artists of America) and VOW (Voice of Webcasters). “There is nothing wrong with a group of individual webcasters sitting down at… Read more »

Sum 41 Become Fun Sordid Ones At NY Club Gig – Review

“The last time we were here,” declared Deryck Whibley from the stage, “two girls came up and made out.” The pronouncement by Sum 41’s singer/guitarist Tuesday at CBGB was met with screams and raised hands, an indication that several fans were willing to participate in a reenactment. “This time we have to top it,” the adorable, spiky shorn frontman added, and approached bassist Cone McCaslin, tilted his head and parted his lips. Psych! Both pulled away at the last second. “No way!” they said in unison. The fourth stop on the band’s Sum On Your Face club tour wasn’t filled… Read more »
