Looks like we’ll be hearing from Jordan Fish sooner than expected in the metalcore scene. He’s linking up with powerhouse Spiritbox as they work on new music. This was revealed after guitarist Mike Stringer of the three-piece posted on his Instagram stories of a studio mixing-board with Fish sitting behind it. “Diamonds Aren’t Forever,” but the memory of Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes and Static Dress’ Olli Appleyard is. On January 17, at their stop in Liverpool, England, Sykes announced to the crowd, “Who wants to hear an oldie?” and brought out Appleyard to join him for the song. The track is off of their second album, Suicide Season, and had fans excited. Appleyard lent his screams to the classic song and worked the stage alongside Sykes. As It Is has announced their indefinite hiatus from music. The news came from frontman Patty Walters in a recent Instagram post. Recently, the Finnish nu-metal six-piece Blind Channel stopped by the idobi Radio Studios to grace our space with several stripped-back performances, including their August 2023 single “DEADZONE.” Additionally, the group stripped back their 2021 Eurovision Song Contest track, “Dark Side,” which earned them the sixth place of the competition. Everybody stay cool…No Doubt will officially be reuniting at the 2024 Coachella. This morning, the Indio, CA mainstay festival unveiled its upcoming 2024 lineup. The roster features the likes of The Aquabats, The Japanese House, late night drive home, Militarie Gun, and Taking Back Sunday. GHØSTKID has announced a new album, Hollywood Suicide, and dropped the first single from the record, “FSU.” The new full-length comes out on March 22 via Century Media Records, ahead of their upcoming spring tour with Black Veil Brides, Creeper, and Dark Divine. The post-hardcore act embodies an edgy and (positively) offensive realness that hasn’t been in the scene for a bit. Dramatic make-up, masks at times, but overall, they appear like varieties of the undead, especially in the music video for the new single.
