Green Day’s “Basket Case” Just Hit A Major Spotify Milestone

Green Day‘s arguably most iconic song, “Basket Case,” just hit a major milestone. The 1994 hit single is officially in the “billions club” with more than one billion streams on the platform. “American Idiot” is a close second with 898 million streams. Frankly, there’s no better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dookie than with this milestone.

Fortunately, fans will have the chance to celebrate this milestone by hearing it live during Green Day’s upcoming Saviors Tour. Here, the trio will be playing Dookie in full, as well as the entirety of American Idiot. Undoubtedly, fans will also be able to hear the headliners share their latest Saviors hits, including “The American Dream Is Killing Me.”
