Incubus To Tour In Fall


Incubus will release their fourth album, Morning View, on October 23rd. Working once again with producer Scott Litt, the band told Rolling Stone that the new material is “some of the heaviest music we’ve ever written [and] at the same time some of the most beautiful we’ve ever written.” A video shoot for the first single, “Wish You Were Here,” is planned for next month, and there will be pressure for Incubus to outdo themselves, as their video for “Drive” (from 1999’s Make Yourself) is up for Best Group Video at September’s MTV Video Music Awards. Papa Roach DVD Due In Fall


Papa Roach will release a DVD this fall. The work is intended to serve as a companion piece to their break-out, triple platinum album Infest. The DVD will be a rock-umentary of sorts chronicling the past two years surrounding P-Roach’s success. It will include behind-the-scenes footage, TV appearances and the “Last Resort,” “Broken Home” and “Between Angels and Insects” videos. Alkaline Trio Won't Let Spinal Tap Curse Slow Them


They are known as the Alkaline Trio, but the way the red-hot Chicago punk band goes through drummers, they could be called the Next in Line Trio. Since founding member Glenn Porter left the group a little more than a year ago, the trio have had three different drummers, and they’ll have a fourth by fall. Porter was replaced by former Smoking Popes drummer Mike Felumlee, who left a year later to spend time with his family. Linkin Park Tapes Next Video, Singer Happy With Success


Linkin Park took some time off in between OzzFest dates to lens the video for its next single, “In The End” last week. DJ Joseph Hahn and Nathan Cox co-produced the clip, which was shot in Culver City, California. It depicts the band playing in a desert, which comes to life as the video progresses. The electronica artist kicked off his “AREA:ONE” festival at Atlanta’s Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater on Wednesday, an eclectic music gathering that was pure energy from start to finish. The show began on a high note with Nelly Furtado, who charmed the crowd straight away, grooving barefoot in flare-legged jeans and a black tank top.
