Kill The Lights just shared their final single “Sleep With The Devil” from their forthcoming sophomore record, Death Melodies, out on March 8 via Fearless Records. Comprised of Michael “Moose” Thomas, Jason “Jay” James (Bullet For My Valentine), James Clark (Throw The Fight), Jordan Whelan (Still Remains), and Travis Montgomery (Threat Signal), the band first launched their debut record in 2020 with The Sinner. Ahead of Death Melodies‘ release, the band has also shared supercharged singles “Broken Bones,” “Scapegoat,” “Hear You Scream,” and “From Ashes.” “Sleep With The Devil” showcases a slower, unapologetically raw side of the band with prominent acoustic guitar strums. “Sleep with the devil/Lost in the storm /Fighting for closure but… Read more »
Metalcore band ERRA releases the title track off of their upcoming album, “CURE” via UNFD. The LP comes out on April 5. The act surprised fans with a countdown to the video on the label’s YouTube channel. The music video is set in an almost apocalyptic setting with everything getting sucked-up into the sky. They also posted a Reel to their Instagram with the caption: “[longing for a wish or a cure]. The clip has sounds of a transmission that was interrupted, with typewriter texts changing rapidly. Fans commented about a potential tour, a new album, or both. One user… Read more »
Maggie Lindemann has just announced that her second EP, HEADSPLIT, will arrive out on March 8. Fans can begin pre-saving the record on Spotify and Apple Music here. Plus, listeners can pre-order the eight-track EP on iTunes and in her store on vinyl beginning today, as well. In classic Lindemann fashion, the artist draws inspiration from iconic horror films. In this case, the HEADSPLIT cover cheekily nods to the grotesque “Reverse Bear Trap” seen in the first Saw movie. Our fingers are crossed that the EP contains several scary movie Easter eggs. The upcoming release boasts three stunning features, including… Read more »
John O’Callaghan, the wordsmith and lead vocalist behind The Maine and John The Ghost just announced a forthcoming new book, The Highly Unqualified Hand-Guide To Keeping Plants Alive. “I started compiling all of these ideas, poems, and half-bad bits of advice after my daughter was born. Little reminders to her that I am just as confused as she’ll ever be,” O’Callaghan shares in an Instagram Reel. “The text kept evolving but the sentiment remained, and now that my son is here, I felt compelled to share it with y’all so it can exist in the ether for them and for… Read more »

As the release of their third album, How To Disappear, looms, Casey has unleashed the contemplative ballad “Selah.” The aptly titled record marks the group’s full-length return following the announcement of their 2018 disbandment and is set to debut on January 12 via Hassle Records. The group’s latest effort showcases a shift toward a quieter, more introspective tone compared to the album’s previous previews: “Puncture Wounds To Heaven,” “How To Disappear,” and “Bite Through My Tongue.” Rather than having their post-hardcore roots prominently on display, “Selah” flourishes with melancholic percussion, moody guitar melodies, and vocalist Tom Weaver’s reflective delivery. At… Read more »
