Geek Girl Riot is throwing it back this week with three of our most fantabulous episodes (just in case you missed ‘em first time round, we wouldn’t want that). While you listen and revel, keep scrolling to read a roundup of some fresh & sizzling-hot reviews we just cooked up, including: Queen Bee, Praise This, BEEF, Chevalier, Spinning Gold, and Super Mario Bros.
Today the nerds are live again with a show with some not too bad news! We want to start out positive so we talk about Hawaii’s future legalization and New Jersey’s future consumption lounges. Very huge wins for the cannabis and those states! Hip hip hooray! Not that bad! Then we do a little bit of an extended Huff and Puff with double the annoyance.

If you’re a fan of artists taking a big swing and connecting, or a fan of anything slightly experimental yet poppy and listenable, this one’s for you.

idobi photographer Maysa Askar covered the Bring Me The Horizon tour with Poppy and Sleeping With Sirens in Miami at The Fillmore. Check out some photos from the tour below! [imgfull] Bring Me The Horizon Sleeping With Sirens Poppy [/imgfull]
This is an album that needs to be savored, that takes time to truly get, but once it all clicks together you’ll be impressed by just how clever The 1975 is.
Geek Girl Riot’s serving up a healthy dose of sci-fi with The Expanse + an interview with Cas Anvar, plus a pinch of fantasy horror with the Wayward Sisters Anthology + an interview with editor Allison O’Toole!
