American Idol got a little *freaky* on its Sunday, March 9 season 23 premiere. One contestant stood in front of the three judges (Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan) to perform Korn‘s “Freak On A Leash.” The contestant, named Insite, also had long hair perfect for headbanging, and he nailed Jonathan Davis‘ beatboxing portion. Uniquely, Underwood knew each and every Korn lyric, and even joined Insite on the floor to perform “Bodies” by Drowing Pool. Chase Petra has finally revealed their sophomore album, Lullabies For Dogs via Wax Bodega. Featuring singles “A Bug’s Life,” Centrifugal Force,” and “Have Faith, Horatio,” this indie-rock band has proved that they did not come to play on this new record. Looks like Slasher Summer is kicking off a little early this year, thanks to Ice Nine Kills and their newly announced tourmates! Kicking off at the end of April, The Silver Scream-A-Thon will include two nights in each city to celebrate the band’s 2018 and 2021 albums.
