Chase Petra has finally revealed their sophomore album, Lullabies For Dogs via Wax Bodega. Featuring singles “A Bug’s Life,” Centrifugal Force,” and “Have Faith, Horatio,” this indie-rock band has proved that they did not come to play on this new record.
The band says on Instagram, “I’m feeling a little lost for words when it comes to this release. That’s pretty rare too, I’ve got a lot to say. My proof is the songs themselves.”
They continue, “Thank you for letting Chase Petra be a part of our lives. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for believing in us. Art is too often crushed under the weight of bills and fatigue and other terrible things. We are very aware of how lucky we are to have had the space and time to create this album. We hope you find something worth holding onto in it, we hope you make some art tonight and tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that and…”
