At least we freaking hope so! One of idobi Radio’s most-anticipated albums of 2025 has officially dropped: L.S. Dunes‘ Violet. Ahead of the release of their sophomore album, Violet, arriving via Fantasy Records on January 31, L.S. Dunes has unleashed the captivating title track. The atmospheric track draws on the group’s collective prowess, showcasing the strength that binds them beyond the lackluster definition of a “supergroup.” Originally a Frank Iero-written demo, the track is underscored by vocalist Anthony Green’s enthralling delivery and a driving rhythm guitar line. On November 25, Chicago got an honorary new street: Steve Albini Way. In May, the iconic producer passed at 61 years old. At the corner of Belmont and Rockwell, where his studio Electrical Audio sits, the official street sign was unveiled in front of a crowd with a speech from Kim Deal of The Breeders and Pixies.
