Alien Ant Farm Injured In Bus Accident


Alien Ant Farm’s tour bus collided with a truck in Cáceres, Spain, early Wednesday morning (May 22), resulting in the bus driver’s death and the band sustaining minor injuries. The members of the band were taken to a nearby hospital, roughly 200 kilometers west of Madrid, according to a Dreamworks Records spokesperson. Singer Dryden Mitchell sustained back injuries, guitarist Terry Corso broke his ankle, bassist Tye Zamora injured his foot and drummer Mike Cosgrove entered the hospital with cuts and bruises as a result of the accident. 'N Sync Member to Try Space Travel


Lance Bass of ‘N Sync is competing with a former NASA official for the next seat on a Russian spacecraft. Dmitry Malashenkov, spokesman for Russia’s Institute of Biomedical Problems, said Tuesday that Bass and ex-NASA employee Lori Garver were undergoing medical tests at the Moscow center to evaluate their fitness for space travel. They must spend time in a pressurized chamber and undergo a centrifuge test to determine how their bodies would respond to the spacecraft’s liftoff. U2 Enraged, Fans Hit By Ticket Scam


U2 fans hoping to see their heroes play in Europe have been stung by a simple ticketing scam. Tickets for a show at the Amsterdam Arena this summer were advertised and sold through website LatestEvents.com, part of a London firm called Total Entertainment Ltd. The £199 fee included tickets, travel and accommodation. However, U2 were never booked to play the Amsterdam Arena. After announcing the “cancellation” of the gig, Total Entertainment subtracted £17.50 from each package sold for their “insurance fee.” The scam has enraged U2. Oasis have confirmed twelve North American summer tour dates in support of their upcoming fifth album, Heathen Chemistry. The trek kicks off on August 2nd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida – six days after the band wraps its European tour in Rome – and is now scheduled to run through an August 21st date in Detroit.
