Bands covering other bands! Emo act Ben Quad has covered their label and tourmates Arm’s Length’s song, “In Loving Memory,” via Wax Bodega. The act repurposes the original song into a faster rendition, with a concoction of modern pop-punk that’s infused with original emo riffs. Offspring To Play Benefit For Spinal Injury Research

The Offspring, TSOL, and the Line will play Anaheim’s House Of Blues on Saturday (July 13), in a benefit for They Will Surf Again and Life Rolls On, to raise money for a cure for spinal cord injuries. Tickets go on sale at 12 p.m. PT Saturday at Ticketmaster and at the House Of Blues Anaheim Box Office.
