Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson Joins 'Chicago' Touring Company


Kevin Richardson will reprise his Broadway role as manipulative lawyer Billy Flynn when the national company of the musical Chicago plays the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco from August 4 to August 24. The tour, which is currently playing at the Ordway Performing Arts Center in Minnesota, will also make stops in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and Maryland, among other states, according to Playbill.com. This fall, the Backstreet Boys singer will again portray Billy Flynn when Chicago moves to London’s fabled West End, according to Kentucky’s Louisville Courier-Journal.

Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough’s third annual Lupus Cruise to benefit his Dorough Lupus Foundation sets sail from Miami on Sunday (December 15) for a seven-day adventure aboard the Carnival Victory. Dorough, his sister Pollyanna, and the rest of his family will be on board as the Victory visits ports in the Eastern Caribbean, including San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas. Singer Brian Littrell’s wife, actress Leighanne Wallace, has the couple’s baby on board. “We’re expecting a baby boy at the end of this year and we’re very excited,” the twosome said. Hip-O Records will on March 26 release “Nick Carter: Before The ‘Boys’ 1989-1993,” a collection of recordings made by the Backstreet Boys member before the boy band launched him to international fame. The 14-track set consists of recordings Carter made with his vocal teacher Mark Dye between the ages of 9 and 13. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Agrees To Enter Intervention Program


Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has agreed to take part in a pretrial intervention program in order to bring a misdemeanor charge against him to a resolution. Carter was charged with resisting or opposing a law-enforcement officer without violence after he refused an officer’s orders to leave Tampa’s Pop City nightclub on January 2.
