Great news: This is still Genghis Tron. It’s a slightly different flavor, sure. But this is still a band that smashes genres, pushes boundaries, and makes some excellent music while doing so.
This week’s Geek Girl Riot is so packed with the good stuff—the wrap up on Zack Snyder’s Justice League, plus The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, AND Irresistible—that our recording systems actually overheated. So there are a few technical hiccups…but our Rioters, as always, are here to get you fired up.
WandaVision, Wa-WandaVision! The latest Geek Girl Riot gets into the Disney+ series for a spoiler-filled celebration. It might’ve been Agatha All Along, but GGR is really doing the most.
Zach Myers is next up to give his Dad Resume on The Rockstar Dad Show. Jaret and Gary invite the guitarist to the air in an all new episode.
During the years he’s been dominating stages with Shinedown, Zach has been pulling double duty as a rockstar dad. When the group sits down to chat, they swap stories about everything from hunting to screen time.
Plus Zach takes a trip down memory lane and brings us all along as he recalls the success of “Second Chance”, what led the band to record that “Simple Man” cover, and more. Listen in below!
Listen Up! On episode 853, Brandon and Paul from the band Soundhoose join us and keep us rocking and laughing all episode long. Plus, what’s an NFT and who’s got time for it??… enjoy! The Brett Davern Show is streamed LIVE daily at 10am (eastern) 7am (pacific) on idobi Radio at https://idobi.com. Follow Brett on social media @BDavv, Katie : @KatieLeclerc, the show @BrettDavernShow
This week on Geek Girl Riot we get into the mess of this year’s Golden Globes, before turning up the love for Raya and the Last Dragon, Us Again, and Boogie.
The Gunz Show got you a special Valentine present this year—and it’s much better than flowers and chocolate.
Tune in as Gunz invites Mod Sun to the show ahead of the release of Internet Killed The Rockstar. The album drops this Friday (2/12) and marks a new era in Mod’s career, so the two spend some time looking back on the journey that led him here. They’ll also chat about Mod’s return to drumming, working with Avril Lavigne, and more.
Later, Teenage Wrist calls in. Their new collection Earth Is A Black Hole drops this week with Epitaph Records, so Gunz asks the band about their history, the sound they’re creating, and what it was like making an album in LA during quarantine.
I Only Want to Live Once is the result of a passionate and talented musician let loose to do whatever he wants…and, of course, it all works.
Geek Girl Riot turns up the streaming love for WandaVision, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, and Minari. We also break down the Golden Globes nominations and dive into some entertainment trainwrecks.
