This week I have up and coming drummer “Tosh The Drummer” he’s coming up quick in the alternative scene, while starting out playing funk and rock, he’s still very young and has a bright future ahead of him, I met him in Singapore and we struck a friendship and I waned to get to know him and his background better this week on my show, he also talks about all the things he has coming up.
We have a new duo on the show today; [mila]! CJ Lawlor and Wren Mohammed connected over their love for music and eventually, with Wren at the helm, started to imagine what their project would look and sound like. Enter the alternative-pop sound of [mila]! In this episode, they share how Wren’s encouragement brought CJ out of her shell, how they named the project, and everything about the debut single, “Thuong Qua Is Vietnamese For I Love You.” They have great energy and shared great advice on communicating better in meaningful relationships.
