Iconic dark-pop star, Poppy has unveiled the details of her forthcoming album Zig today. The new album is set to release October 27th via Sumerian Records. Supporting the announcement of the new project, Poppy dropped a brand new song, “Knockoff” as well. This surrealist alt-pop track comes as the second teaser from Zig, following “Church Outfit” that dropped in April of this year. Way back in 2006, Paramore recorded an acoustic rendition of “My Hero” originally by the incredible Foo Fighters. Now, the cover has finally hit streaming services all these years later. Not sure what took them so long to make this decision, but we sure are happy about it. Along with the acoustic version, Paramore also released an electronic mix as well. Last month Hayley Williams joined Foo Fighters on stage in Tennessee at Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival for a guest performance of “My Hero”.
