This week we chat with bassist and songwriter, Aubrey Harris! She began playing electric bass at age 13 and sitting in on gigs with her father, a jazz drummer. When Aubrey was 16, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music where she graduated in 2017. On February 13, blink-182 and Alkaline Trio performed at The Hollywood Palladium to raise funds for victims of the LA wildfires. Charities supported included the LAFD Foundation, the California Fire Foundation, the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, and the Pasadena Humane Society. Of course, with such an astounding bill, blink-182 pulled out all the stops for fans, including bringing out Alkaline Trio frontman, and former frontman of blink, Matt Skiba. Skiba, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker all teamed up to perform “Bored To Death,” the hit track from 2016 LP California.
