It’s never a bad time to discover a new band or artist. Somewhere out there, in either a basement, garage, or make-shift studio, a group of people are sitting around writing songs and deciding to start a new band. You never know which one of those artists might just be the next biggest thing in the world. It is our job, here at idobi Radio, to find these acts and expose them to you. Of course, you’ll always see us covering the mainstay acts like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, or Paramore. However, all of those bands were once… Read more »
This week I have long time friend Eric Bootow from band Jughead’s Revenge, he also plays for hardcore legendary SoCal band Fourth In Line, and Sederra. He’s the go to bass guy in the OC for punk rock bands. I met him through Efrem Schulz of Death By Stereo and Eric was one of my first friends when I moved back to SoCal in 2003. We talk about my first time in a bar with him, and a bunch of other fun stories.

NOAHFINNCE weaves a spellbinding narrative in his latest music video for “SCUMBAG,” drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of Harry Potter. The alt-artist, who initially dropped the track in October, uses this magical realm to shed light on issues of transphobia and confront TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists). Evoking the nostalgia of J.K. Rowling‘s iconic book series and the subsequent film adaptations that captivated audiences in the late ’90s and early/mid-2000s, NOAHFINNCE transforms the familiar wizarding world into a canvas for his powerful message. Despite the enchantment of Harry Potter, recent statements from Rowling have shifted the narrative, prompting discussions about… Read more »

In 2020, Issues released their former vocalist (whom we have decided not to name as to avoid giving him more attention) from his position with the band following a series of allegations that included sexual misconduct, grooming, etc. At the time of his release, the three remaining members, Adrian “AJ” Rebollo, Skyler Acord, and Josh Manuel, issued a joint statement that read, “Recently we have become aware of allegations against [REDACTED NAME], of grooming and sexual misconduct. We, Josh, Sky, and AJ, will no longer be working with [REDACTED]. We believe survivors.” After several years of silence following these allegations,… Read more »
