This week I have long time friend Eric Bootow from band Jughead’s Revenge, he also plays for hardcore legendary SoCal band Fourth In Line, and Sederra. He’s the go to bass guy in the OC for punk rock bands. I met him through Efrem Schulz of Death By Stereo and Eric was one of my first friends when I moved back to SoCal in 2003. We talk about my first time in a bar with him, and a bunch of other fun stories.

Legendary rock band, Fall Out Boy has announced a limited edition 20th anniversary physical releases of their debut album Take This to Your Grave in partnership with Fueled By Ramen. The collection will hit shelves and streaming services on December 15th of this year. The record was originally released on May 6, 2003…are we old, yet? While not officially on the When We Were Young Fest 2023 bill, Cassadee Pope is popping up left, right, and center for special guest performances at the festival. Yesterday afternoon, during Yellowcard’s performance, they were joined by Pierce The Veil’s Vic Fuentes for the live collaborative debut of their single “Three Minutes More.” Following their performance with Fuentes, Cassadee Pope jumped on stage for a heartwrenching, beautiful collaborative rendition of the band’s 2003 hit “Only One.” Now, as we’ve entered into the second date of the festival, Pope was caught on stage performing “Are You Happy Now?” alongside Michelle Branch… Read more »
