Green Day has announced the arrival of American Idiot 20th Anniversary Deluxe edition—which feels too perfectly timed with the forthcoming election. The deluxe release is scheduled to drop on October 25, 2024, a little more than 20 years after the original album was released on September 21, 2004. Seattle-based punks Filth Is Eternal have released their new cover of Hole‘s “Violet,” a track that originally appeared on 1994’s Live Through This. This marks the first release since Filth Is Eternal‘s 2023 LP Find Out.
