Kelly on Monday filed a $75 million breach-of-contract suit against fellow recording star Jay-Z, accusing the rapper and his associates of threats and violence that turned their joint tour into a “nightmare.” The suit brought in state Supreme Court in Manhattan following a tumultuous performance on Friday at Madison Square Garden during which Kelly abruptly left the stage after telling the audience he saw two men in the crowd brandishing guns. Los Angeles – Saturday night’s double shot of pop-punk bands Good Charlotte and Sum 41 at the Universal Amphitheater may have been kids’ stuff, but there were plenty of ’em there for it. But at the tour’s August 4 stop at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia, some fans discovered that the dangers can come from above.
