Papa Roach is set to release its new album Lovehatetragedy on June 18. The band has decided “She Loves Me Not” will be the first single from the collection. It’s scheduled to impact rock and modern rock radio May 7. Lovehatetragedy is produced by Brendan O’Brien, who is known for his work with Pearl Jam and Rage Against The Machine. Despite a call from the NAACP for an economic boycott of the state, rappers Outkast appeared at a music festival in South Carolina. A member of the duo told audience members that they decided to perform because they were told if they didn’t, a lot of people working at the festival would lose their jobs. They added that they still love South Caroline and support the NAACP, despite ignoring its boycott call. The inspiration for “She Loves Me Not,” the first single from Papa Roach’s upcoming album, Lovehatetragedy, didn’t come easy to frontman Jacoby Shaddix. The track is about his sometimes-turbulent relationship with his wife, Kelly, who recently gave birth to their first child, Makaile Cielo Shaddix. No Doubt comes home to Southern California tonight (March 27) for the first of two gigs at L.A.’s Universal Amphitheater in support of its current album, Rock Steady.
