After months of hedging, the Russian Space Agency has finally decided that Lance Bass has the right stuff. The Backstreet Boys release their first-ever greatest-hits package, titled The Hits: Chapter One, on Tuesday (October 30). The 13-song collection includes the group’s new single “Drowning” and also comprises songs from the group’s 1996 album Backstreet Boys, 1999’s Millennium, and last year’s Black & Blue. Though some fans may not believe it until they see it in stores, Michael Jackson’s first full album of original material in 10 years, Invincible, is slated for an October 30 release. The album will include “You Rock My World,” its first single, and the track “Speechless,” according to a statement released Thursday (August 23) by Epic Records. No other song titles were mentioned. After spending years in En Vogue, recording an album with the short-lived Lucy Pearl and contributing backing vocals to a number of artists, Dawn Robinson has decided to keep her silky, soulful voice all to herself.
