Twin Atlantic want to be “Free”


U.K. band Twin Atlantic will release Free, the anticipated follow-up to 2009’s critically lauded mini-album Vivarium, digitally on May 3rd in the U.S. via Red Bull Records. Free was recorded at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica , CA with legendary producer Gil Norton.

Amazon today launched a public beta of “Amazon MP3”, a new digital music download store with a huge selection of a la carte DRM-free MP3 music downloads. Amazon MP3 has over 2 million songs from more than 180,000 artists represented by over 20,000 major and independent labels. Butch Vig Says Garbage Hiatus Is Over; Jimmy Eat World Nearly Done With LP


Last we heard from Garbage, in the fall of 2005, the group was going on an indefinite hiatus. New DVD from Dashboard Confessional


Dashboard Confessional packed a brand-new, exclusive DVD with the first 500,000 of the band’s third album, A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar. Dashboard Hit the Road


A week after backing out of opening duties for Beck’s summer tour, Dashboard Confessional have lined up a sixteen-date headlining outing to launch August 30th in Pittsburgh. The band will be previewing its third studio album, A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (due August 12th), along the way.
