After reviewing the evidence surrounding Wes Scantlin’s alleged roadside altercation with his fiancée, the Ventura County district attorney’s office has decided not to pursue charges against the Puddle of Mudd singer. Scantlin and Michelle Rubin were arrested Sunday and were being investigated for battery and domestic violence. In a scene strikingly similar to Puddle of Mudd’s video for “Control,” the couple was seen fighting on the side of Highway 126 in Piru, California.
